JMI Security Workforce Development is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering veterans and individuals from underserved communities through security training, career readiness education, and mentorship.
We believed that access to opportunity changes lives. Our programs are designed to remove barriers to employment by providing the tools, guidance, and support individuals need to build sustainable careers in the security profession.
By investing in workforce development, we strengthen families, support economic stability, and contribute to safer communities.

Our mission is to create clear pathways to employment for individuals who are ready to work but may lack access to resources, guidance, or funding. Through structured training, professional development workshops, and mentorship, we equip participants with the skills and confidence necessary to succeed in the security industry and beyond.

Jeffrey Moye
Jeffrey Moye, MPA, is a senior nonprofit executive with 15+ years of experience leading large-scale programs across homeless services, healthcare, and community initiatives in New York City. He specializes in building high-performing teams, strengthening compliance systems, and driving measurable outcomes for vulnerable populations.
